Products
GAIA supplies four product lines: industrial minerals, industrial by-products for cement and concrete, recycled polymer granules, and magnetic separation equipment. Each is supplied to documented specifications.

Industrial minerals
Range of fluxes, clays and silica supplied to the grades and particle sizes that mainly ceramic, glass, & cement producers rely on. Specifications and certificates of analysis are provided with every consignment.

A calcium-magnesium carbonate used as a flux and raw material in ceramic bodies and glazes, and as a source of magnesia in glassmaking.

A high-stability flux that strengthens the ceramic matrix and improves glaze durability, offering a reliable, slower-melting alternative for controlled vitrification.

High purity silica supplied to controlled particle sizes, a core former in both ceramic bodies and glass batches.

Provides a reliable, chemically balanced aluminosilicate input ideal for white cement and structural fillers. For fine manufacturing, our ceramic grade kaolin delivers superior plasticity, controlled shrinkage, and after firing whiteness essential for high quality porcelain, sanitaryware, and tiles.

A potent flux that lowers the melting temperature and enhances the fluidity of ceramic glazes, making it ideal for achieving smooth, glassy surfaces.

Magnesite powder serves as a high-temperature flux and opacifier in ceramics, delivering a smooth, satin-matte finish while lowering thermal expansion to prevent glaze crazing and uniquely altering color development.

A high grade clay mineral valued for its tubular structure, used in advanced ceramics, life sciences and other specialty applications.

A highly absorbent clay used as a binder and plasticiser across ceramics, foundry and many industrial processes.

A fine, highly plastic sedimentary clay that binds ceramic bodies together, giving unfired ware its plasticity and green strength. Refined grades feed the casting slips behind sanitary ware production.

Industrial by-products
Quality controlled by-products from power generation and incineration that put proven material back into use. Each one replaces part of a primary raw material, cutting cost and embodied carbon for cement and concrete producers.

A fine pozzolanic powder recovered from coal fired power stations. Replacing part of the cement in concrete improves workability and long term durability while lowering cost and CO2 per tonne.

The coarser ash recovered from the boiler floor, used as a lightweight aggregate and raw material in cement clinker, concrete blocks and road bases.

A high purity set retarder in cement production and a core raw material in plasterboard, supplied to specification from natural and recovered sources.

Recycled plastic granules
Recycled low density polyethylene (rLDPE) and recycled polypropylene (rPP) granules, a consistent and more sustainable feedstock for moulders and compounders looking to reduce reliance on virgin polymer.
Material that has already served once goes back into production instead of landfill, cutting feedstock cost against virgin resin and shrinking the environmental footprint of every part made from it.

Magnetic separators
A full range of magnetic separation equipment that removes metallic contaminants from raw materials across many industries. Cleaner material means better product quality, fewer stoppages and longer life for your production line and machinery. Available as dry and wet magnetic separators, drum and roll magnetic separators, overbelt magnets, and eddy current separators (recycling industry) specified to your throughput and material.

Every grade, documented
Minerals and granules ship with the documentation your quality team needs: declared origin, grade, particle size and certificate of analysis. Equipment is specified and supported for your process.
