Rows of drum magnetic separators in an iron ore processing plant

Products

Magnetic Separation

A full range of magnetic separation equipment that removes metallic contaminants from raw materials across many industries, specified to your throughput and material.

Magnetic separator lifting metallic contaminants from raw material

Why it matters

Cleaner material, protected machinery

Cleaner material means better product quality, fewer stoppages and longer life for your production line and machinery.

  • Better product quality. Metal contamination removed before it reaches your product.
  • Fewer stoppages. Tramp metal caught before it can jam or damage equipment.
  • Longer machinery life. Less wear on crushers, mills and downstream plant.
  • Lower energy and emissions. In glass melting, cleaner batches need less decolourant, melt more efficiently and extend furnace life.

Equipment range

A separator for every stage of your line

From tramp iron on the conveyor to fine iron in glaze slips and high purity minerals, each separator is specified to your material, particle size and throughput.

Ferrous · tramp iron

Overbelt and suspended magnets

Magnetic plates and self-cleaning belt magnets hung above conveyors, lifting tramp iron such as bolts, tools and bucket teeth out of the stream before it reaches crushers, mills and belts. Double-pole designs pull metal flat to protect the belt.

Ferrite or neodymium · belts 600–1,400 mm · pull distance up to 40 cm

Ferrous · bulk flows

Magnetic drum separators

Enclosed high intensity drums, full and semi-magnetic, that continuously pull ferrous and weakly magnetic particles out of free-flowing bulk material, with wet drum versions for slurries.

Ø375–900 mm drums · up to 7,500 gauss on the drum surface

Fine particles

High intensity roll separators

Dry roll separators that remove fine iron-bearing particles from quartz, feldspar, silica sand, chromite and other granular minerals, raising the grade with a low waste rate.

63 µm to 10 mm · up to 13,000 gauss · 1 to 3 stages

Powders · granules

Grates, drawers and bars

Stainless steel magnetic bars in grates, drawers and rotary separators for hoppers, chutes and silos, in manual, easy-clean and pneumatic self-cleaning designs that clean without stopping the flow.

10,000 gauss bars · AISI 304 or 316 · up to 120 °C

Liquids · slips

Magnetic filters

Leak-proof stainless housings with bar magnets that capture iron from ceramic slips, oils and food liquids, with food-grade seals, heating jackets for hot products and automatic cleaning options.

DN25–150 · manual to continuous auto-clean

Chutes · pipelines

Plate and in-line magnets

Plate magnets for chutes and belts, hump plates for gravity chutes, and bullet and sleeve separators that clean pipelines and silo feeds, including micronized minerals before storage.

Neodymium plates up to 5,500 gauss · bullet separators up to 200 m³/h

Slurries · wet process

High intensity electromagnetic filters

Wet filters that remove weakly magnetic impurities from glaze and clay slips and from quartz and feldspar slurries, before or after flotation, with adjustable field strength and low energy use.

Up to 24,000 gauss · automatic cleaning · 1–15 m³/h

Non-ferrous · recycling

Eddy current separators

Recover aluminium, copper and other non-ferrous metals from recycling streams, after a self-cleaning neodymium plate has taken out the ferrous fraction.

Ferrous removed first · non-ferrous ejected to its own chute

In practice

Cleaner minerals you can see

The same separation upgrades industrial minerals such as quartz, silica sand and feldspar, removing the iron-bearing particles that discolour glass and ceramics.

Results depend on the ore and its particle size. We test a sample of your own material before specifying.

Beyond separation

Detection, handling and magnets

The same range covers the rest of your magnetic needs, from finding the metal a magnet cannot catch to lifting steel safely.

Metal detectors

Single sensor, dual sensor and tunnel detectors that find ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless metal, including pieces a magnet cannot catch.

Lifting and handling

Electro-permanent, electromagnetic and manual lifting magnets, plus magnetic conveyors and tables for moving steel safely.

Demagnetizers and gaussmeters

Plate, hand-held and tunnel demagnetizers, with gaussmeters to measure field strength on site.

Permanent magnets

Neodymium, ferrite and AlNiCo magnets, pot magnets and flexible magnets, supplied to specification.

Choosing a magnet material

Each material trades pulling force against heat tolerance, corrosion resistance and cost.

On the line

Where separators work

Separators sit where contamination enters or matters most: above feed conveyors, ahead of crushers and mills, and in the final purification of high grade material.

How we work

From your line to the right separator

Our equipment is designed and built in Türkiye by a specialist manufacturer with its own engineering team, in-house CNC machining and traceable production.

1

Assess

We review your material, particle size, throughput and the contaminants to remove, with a site survey where it helps.

2

Test

Your own material can be tested and reported on first, so the specification rests on evidence rather than assumptions.

3

Supply

The specified equipment is delivered with its documentation, planned around your installation.

4

Support

Service, repair and field strength measurement keep the equipment performing over its working life.
